Wow, is it cool (pun intended)! If you want to explore the back of the cave, take proper lighting. The tiny flashlight 🔦 I had was not near good enough. Lava flows are so interesting. That the pioneers found it and utilized it for their benefit, makes the history come alive.

Well worth the small drive off the highway, incredible to find out the history behind the farmers building such an elaborate concrete arch and flume system without any outside funding.
